To help you better understand the data you are viewing, Social Explorer provides a Data Dictionary with detailed documentation. You can access it in multiple ways:
Browse All Data Dictionary Pages
- Navigate to the Data Dictionary page.
- Select the survey you’re interested in.
Access the Data Dictionary Through Reports
You can also access the Data Dictionary directly from a report you’ve created. There are two ways to do this:
- Click the name of the variable in the table.
- Under Sources & Notes, click Data Dictionary.
This allows you to quickly reference variable definitions and additional details while analyzing your data.
Access the data dictionary from the Tables page
- Head over to the Tables page.
- Find and click the survey you're interested in.
- Click More info next to the year about which you want to find out more.
